Hello, its me Lexus and I am going to be sharing my speech with you all. My speech is about Elon musk and his SpaceX programe and a little bit of tesla. Here you go...
Intro
“Failure is an option here. If things are not failing you're not innovating” these are the words of Elon Musk. Hi my name is Lexus and today I am going to be talking about Elon Musk's SpaceX program and the pros and cons about what they do and why we need it. Many people either agree or disagree on the program, even people from NASA who Elon looks up to.
Space X was founded by Elon in may 2002 and still he remains CEO of the program and still to this day is improving and working on new rockets that can do what can’t be done. So I think that we should look further into SpaceX and why we need it. We will be looking into failure, teamwork, money and a little extra Elon Musk has spent on this.
Failure
Since june 2010 there have been 119 full mission successes within the Falcon 9 family (Falcon 9 is a partially reusable two-stage-to-orbit medium-lift launch vehicle designed and manufactured by SpaceX in the United States) and within that time there has been one failure where a rocket has not made it back, which causes Elon to work harder on getting all the rockets back safely and so that they are reusable. ( sentence can go into two) During the time between 2010 and now (2021) Musk has had many interviews about his SpaceX program and throughout all of those interviews he has talked about how he has failed and had almost given up and sold his company but then one of the rocket landings was a success and his plan worked just the way it was supposed to. (sentence too long)
When the rocket landing had worked, it encouraged him to keep going and continue to work on designing and building rockets.
Team work
When Elon first wanted to start the SpaceX program he was all excited and was willing to spend millions on this but he had to stop and think, he had no knowledge or experience on designing and building rockets. There was no way that he could do this on his own, so he needed a team of people who had all of what he needed to start the program.
He got a team and started working and talking with them. Everyday they would teach Musk how and what this or that means just so he could start designing on his own and then eventually start building. His team has helped him throughout all of these years, without them Elon wouldn't be able to start the program.
Money
Elon Musk has spent $209 billion on the company and as I had said before, he is willing to spend money’. The company is now worth way more than $57-137 million as it had started with. I do think that Elon is going to continue to spend millions of dollars on the company and is going to keep improving. As Elon Musk has said “you can either watch it happen or be a part of” and I think that this very message has spread among a lot of people. As many know, Elon Musk is the second richest person in the world.
Musk has roughly 20% stake in tesla which is funny because he actually sent a tesla into space, which leads me to…
Tesla v SpaceX
Musk has made $11 billion from Tesla and it is worth $631 billion where space or space exploration’s company valuation is approximately 74 billion US dollars. I think we all know that Tesla is doing better money wise than spaceX. Now as I had said before, Elon had sent a Tesla into space, why did he do this? Well Musk had begun to explain he wanted to inspire the public about the "possibility of something new happening in space" as part of his larger vision for spreading humanity to other planets. As tesla is holding the Fastest Speed Electric Vehicle Record and the safest car record it is a really cool, futuristic type of car there is still a chance of something going wrong. Tesla's Model S Performance is the fastest-accelerating production car in the world which, if you ask me, is pretty cool.
SpaceX scored its first big headline in 2010, when it became the first private company to launch a payload into orbit and return it to Earth intact. A payload is like the passengers and or cargo in an aircraft. Which is something that only government organizations like NASA or Russia's Roscosmos had done before. SpaceX's achievements include the first privately funded liquid-propellant rocket to reach orbit (Falcon 1 in 2008) Again the falcon family is a series of rockets Elon has created.
Personally I agree with spacex more than Teslas but although it won’t change my mind I still am interested in hearing about your opinions.
Satellite simulations
As much as I look up to Elon Musk and adore the idea of SpaceX there is still this conspiracy that I had read recently about the government using satellites in space to create simulations or holograms which brings me this…
So, have you been reading or watching the news lately? If not then I would like you to know that they are talking about aliens. Now I want you to think about thi for a second, does something add up to you? Now I can’t tell you if you are right or wrong but there could be a chance that Elonn musk is helping to create the illusion that people are seeing things like UFO’s so that the government can have her next big blow to “save the day.” Now I don’t want to die from a “heart attack” by telling the next generation about classified government information that can impact the future but.. Something does add up to me.
Conclusion
In conclusion, Elon Musk is a very successful person. He is really well money wise and is a very smart person who is looking to improve the future in hope of space travel and sustainability. So although I have gone a little much on this speech and gone a little off topic I did enjoy sharing this information and these statistics with you all and hope that you find some interest in Elon Musk's work as I have. Thank you for your time.
Thank you for reading my speech, do you find Elon Musk interesting, if so why?
