based learning for this term is about cultural stories .
My grandmas old wedding ring that has been given to her from her mum, has been past on to dan my step dad who has gave it to my mum .
Every year on christmas we have a christmas brunch and we invite all our family and friends, we always have a giant turkey and lots of ham and much more food, drinks and activities like ping pong and tennis.
Outside the YMCA building is a mural showing a strong woman. The "Kaitaki" looks like she would watch over the building and the people inside. The artist is Fin Dac whose murals show beautiful women, with eye masks, who wear gorgeous clothes and elegant makeup. His style is called Urban Aesthetics, in which he combines the modern urban stencil art and traditional art of portrait.
The canterbury museum located at the entry to the Botanic gardens is a Christchurch icon, first opening its doors to the public on the 1 October 1870. Over time, the original building designed by architect Benjamin mountfort has evolved with additions made to house the ever-growing collection.
Christchurch is where me and my family grow up and we like it here .
That is my P.B.L / chch back story what's yours ?

Hi Lexus, I liked reading about your family traditions. The wedding ring tradition is so lovely. I have a ring that was my grandmother's and it is very precious to me. Your stories about Christchurch are interesting and show that you really like your city. Where is your favourite spot in Christchurch? Mine is the Botanical Gardens.
