For writing this week I had to write up some statistics on poverty, here is my work...
What if there was no poverty? What if we all did our part and helped others who are poor and can’t feed their families? There are lots of people and even children who are facing poverty. There are 1.6 billion people that are poor and homeless world wide and if we all donate some extra money that we don’t need we can help more than half of those people/children. Over the last 25 years, more than a billion people have lifted from poverty. People don’t need to be rich, they just need to be happy and healthy with a job that is fair and gives good pay. What if we made it so no one is poor? You can help by donating food, warm clothes and blankets. The real hero is the one that gives, not takes.
